Does ZinsPlus have a maturity date?
Compared to traditional overnight deposit accounts, which often pay attractive interest rates for a maximum of only six months, ZinsPlus has no expiry date. This means that you can enjoy the current interest rate of the European Central Bank (ECB) plus an additional income component on a permanent basis, even after six months. A change will only occur if the ECB lowers or raises interest rates or if the additional income component changes its returns. Currently, the additional income component generates between 0.20% and 0.40% in additional income per year. This income component may vary depending on market conditions and is not guaranteed.
